Nancy M. Girgis is a seasoned attorney with over a decade of diverse legal experience. She has built a distinguished career in litigation, legal bill review, and corporate compliance, representing clients across various industries. Nancy is known for her meticulous legal analysis, strategic defense planning, and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her clients.
Nancy currently serves as an attorney at Ingber, Weinberg & Gevoglanyan, LLP, where she applies her extensive expertise to complex legal matters. Prior to this role, she worked as a Legal Bill Reviewer at Travelers Insurance, ensuring compliance with billing policies and negotiating resolutions to disputes. Her experience also includes serving as a Senior Staff Attorney at The Hartford, where she handled complex litigation, prepared appellate briefs, and provided in-house training to junior associates.
Nancy’s legal career began at Black and Rose, LLP, where she gained significant experience in workers’ compensation litigation, conducting over 100 depositions and appearing in trials and hearings. She has also worked as an Associate Attorney at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith and The Altman Law Group, further honing her skills in litigation and trial practice.
In addition to her legal practice, Nancy is deeply committed to community service. She serves as Vice President of the ImPOWER Youth Board of Directors, where she mentors and empowers young individuals to reach their full potential. She has also contributed to her local community as Chair of the Westbury Voice, organizing events and fostering connections among residents.
Nancy earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2010 and holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminology, Law and Society, and Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. She is conversational in Arabic and proficient in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis, as well as various case management tools.
