Stephanie S. Torigian received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Pepperdine University. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the Western State University of Law-Fullerton. She was then admitted to the California State Bar and United States Central District of California in 1998.

Ms. Torigian has over 20 years of experience as an attorney in the Workers’ Compensation system. Immediately following her admittance to the California State Bar, she began her career as an attorney for a large health care firm, where she undertook contract analysis and review, settlement negotiations, extensive coverage analysis, evaluation of state and ERISA law, HMO liability, COBRA and HIPAA regulations.

Ms. Torigian went on to establish herself as a Workers’ Compensation defense attorney. She has gained valuable experience working several years as counsel for various Workers’ Compensation insurance carriers, where she was designated as primary counsel for multiple employers in light of her superior results.  Ms. Torigian also brings experience in civil litigation, including personal injury, insurance coverage, and subrogation.

Currently, Ms. Torigian defends Workers’ Compensation claims on behalf of insurance carriers, employers, self-insureds and administrators. Her practice also includes subrogation matters and defense of Labor Code Section 132a and serious and willful claims. Ms. Torigian has extensive experience with trials and settlements, coupled with a creative and aggressive approach. Ms. Torigian’s strategies have minimized costs and reduced exposure, producing excellent results for her clients.
